Upcoming Projects

Thrilled to announce that I will be editing a devotional anthology in honor of the Queen of Heaven.
"A Mantle of Stars: A Devotional Anthology in Honor of the Queen of Heaven, edited by Jen McConnelSubmissions open on November 5, 2012 and close on April 1, 2013, with a projected release date of June 2013. Submissions may include, but are not limited to: poetry, scholarly articles, short fiction, retellings of ancient myths, rituals and meditations, recipes, short memoir, and original artwork and photography.
Many cultures have worshipped the Queen of Heaven, and she is truly the Lady of Ten Thousand Names. She is Isis, Inanna, Anat, Ishtar, Astarte, Asherah, Hannahannah, Frigg, Hera and al-Lat. Some call her the Heavenly Mother of Mormonism, Shekinah, or Sophia.  Her celestial crown is worn by Aditi, Aradia, Marici, Rhea, the Virgin Mary, Selene, Juno, and the Thelemic Nuit. In African Diasporic traditions she is Yemaya, while the Aztec called her Coyolxauhqui.  There are countless Goddesses who bear the title Queen of Heaven, and this anthology seeks to honor as many of them as possible."
The full call for submissions is posted here.
